Cunningham Motorsports started their day fast at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville having drivers Chase Briscoe and Kevin ThomasJr. both finish the first practice session inside the top five. Briscoe took the first spot with a top lap speed of 108.649.
Kevin Thomas Jr. would finish practice fifth best with a speed of 107.884.
Cole Williams landed right behind Briscoe in second and newcomer Bret Holmes in the 23 car would finish with the third best time with a lap speed of 108.331.
2016 Daytona winner John Wes Townley had the fourth best time.
There was one caution during the practice with debris on the track outside of turns one and two.
