BRISCOE AT CHARLOTTE: Chase Briscoe has five NASCAR Cup Series starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway including a career-best performance in last year’s Coca-Cola 600 where he started from the pole and finished third. Briscoe also has five NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series starts and one NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series start at the track.
ALL-STAR RECAP: Briscoe led 61 laps en route to a second-place finish in last weekend's NASCAR All-Star Race at Dover Motor Speedway. Late in the race, Briscoe grabbed the lead on the final restart with 52 laps remaining. He held the top spot until he was passed by eventual winner Denny Hamlin on lap 171.
600 MILES OF REMEMBRANCE: First Lieutenant Ace W. Tyler (USAF) was on the crew of a B-24H Liberator during World War II. On the 29th of May 1944, on his 17th mission, 1st Lt. Tyler flew from England on a mission to Politz, Germany, in order to destroy North German oil works there. The bomber was shot down near Gueltz where the burning plane crashed and nine of the crew members perished. Only one crew member survived. 1st Lt. Tyler was 26 years old and newly married when he was killed in action. 1st Lt. Tyler was nominated by his nephew, Ryan McDonald, who is the General Manager of the Bass Pro Shops location in Branson, Missouri.
JAMES SMALL: 2026 is James Small’s seventh season leading the No. 19 team and his second year with Briscoe behind the wheel. The first five years of his tenure as crew chief were spent with Martin Truex Jr. Small has led his drivers to 11 wins across those seven seasons. The No. 19 crew chief has two top-five finishes and four top-10s in seven starts at Charlotte.

A wristband is required and will be distributed Friday morning starting at 9 a.m. Fans will have a second opportunity to meet Briscoe Saturday morning at Harris Teeter #440 (11135 Golf Links Drive, Charlotte, NC 28277) in partnership with Lance.
