MITCHELL, IN (August 22nd, 2018) - USAC AMSOIL National Midget Series points leader Logan Seavey and MSCS Hoosier Tire Series points leader Carson Short are set to tag team the 7th Annual Sprint Car Smackdown at Kokomo Speedway this week. The week's events will kick off on Wednesday, August 22nd and run through Saturday, August 25th. USAC Sprints are running each of those nights. The last time CBR was at Kokomo (during Indiana Sprint Week) Thomas Meseraull dominated the race and took home the Feature win. We caught up with both drivers and they had this to day about the upcoming events:
Logan Seavey - "I'm excited to get back to Kokomo, only been there once in the sprint car and kind of struggled. So I'm looking forward to four straight nights to learn and get better and hopefully race up front."
Carson Short - "I'm very excited to be headed to Kokomo with CBR. I know the car will be fast, as they won the last time the team was there. I feel like we have a good week ahead of us!"
